Throughout my professional career and on city commission, I have remained engaged with Battle Creek’s big and small businesses. I have proven results working with stakeholders in the government, private sector and nonprofit entities to bring economic opportunities to our city.
Connected to Economic Development is quality affordable housing in ranges people can afford, jobs and a talented labor pool, a strong public infrastructure in police, fire, water, transportation and streets, viable schools and childcare. Engaging strategies to improve our residents' experiences in these areas is my goal!
I recognize that supporting Battle Creek’s economy also means supporting Battle Creek’s residents. I will work to make Battle Creek a more attractive place to live and work for families. I will continue to make Battle Creek a great city for families to work and thrive!
